Most Saturdays: 8:00am - 11:00am

Patients are seen by appointment only. We cannot accommodate walk-ins.

Important note:

Please remember to add your new baby to your insurance plan no later than 30 days after birth. If a baby is not added to your policy, it can be very complicated to obtain coverage for your child.

After Hours Emergencies: Call the main office number, listen to the options - and if you choose to leave a voicemail please state your phone number clearly and twice. Our answering service will page us. Someone will return your call. If you do not hear back, it is likely because your phone number was cut out on the voicemail. Please call back and leave another voicemail. Please save questions about mild illness, appointments, prescription refills for the next business day. Be aware that our office shares after hours calls with Dr. Anita Sabeti so you may reach her office on certain days of the month.

Well-baby Visits: We recommend that well-baby visits be scheduled at least one month in advance. During routine visits, a doctor will assess your child’s growth and development as well as screen for issues that could impact your child’s health. The general timing of these visits can be found on our website but may vary based on our doctors’ discretion. The number of well baby visits covered by insurance varies from plan to plan and we do not know how many visits are covered for any particular patient. If the number of visits recommended by our doctors exceeds the number of allowed visits in your plan, you could be responsible for payment. If you are unsure, please contact your insurance carrier to determine how many visits will be covered during the first 3 years. You may also speak with our Office Manager if you have questions.

Many checkups also involve other conversations and diagnoses which do not fall under an insurance company's definition of well care. While we will not generally collect do-pays for well checks, it may be necessary, post-visit based on insurance response, to apply the copay as well as a deductible amount to your balance.

Sick/Office Visits: We have a separate sick entrance. If your baby is sick, we know you need access to sound medical information and advice. Call our office and ask to speak with one of our highly trained advice nurses who can help decide if your child needs to be seen in our office. If a same or next-day appointment is needed, your baby will be seen by a doctor who has time in their schedule. We will collect a copay at the time of the visit and submit a claim to your insurance. A portion of the visit may be applied to your deductible and you will be responsible for the amount not covered by your insurance.

Vaccination Policy: We require all our patients to receive vaccines according to the schedule published by The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). Our vaccination schedule can be found on our website.

Lactation Visits: We are here to support you in achieving your feeding goals....whether that means exclusive breastfeeding, combination feeding or formula feeding. To that end, all of The Pediatric Group's doctors have breastfeeding knowledge and are supported by our Certified Lactation Educators, Drs. Rachel Kramer and Jacob Gindi, Nurse Melissa Tatum and Amy Maimon, CLEC. We offer lactation support and consultation as well as support and guidance for bottle feeding and weaning.

Insurance & Billing: Our office contracts with an offsite company who handles our billing. For questions about your statement please contact Orange County Medical Billing at 714-895-5614.

We accept most PPO insurance plans. HMO plans must be issued through the Cedars-Sinai Health Associates network and one of our doctors must be assigned to your child as the primary care provider. Please confirm with your insurance plan that we are in your network.

We also ask that you bring your insurance card to each visit. Your insurance card has the information we need to collect copayments and submit claims.

We expect timely payment of your portion of the bill for caring for your child. For your convenience, you may make payments electronically by visiting our website and clicking on “Bill Pay.”

Appointments: We do our best to see our patients in a timely manner. In order to do this, we ask that you arrive on time for your appointment. If you arrive more than 15 minutes past your scheduled appointment time, your appointment may need to be rescheduled in order to spend the appropriate time needed with you and your child(ren), and out of consideration for other scheduled patients.

No Shows and Late Cancellations: We require a 24-hour advance notice if you must cancel your appointment. No show and late cancellations will result in a $75 charge to your account.

An Annual Administrative Assessment is charged to each family on October 1 of each year. The assessment is $300 for families with 1 child, $350 for families with 2 children and $400 for families with 3 or more children.
