Welcome to our practice

History of the practice

For over 30 years, The Pediatric Group has been a trusted medical advisor to the families of Southern California. Dr. Jerry Whitman founded our practice in 1971 and we have been in the same location in Beverly Hills since 1992. Dr. Rachel Kramer and Dr. Monique Araya joined the practice in 2005 and 2008, respectively. Our practice continued to grow, and in 2022, Dr. Emily Barber joined the practice. Most recently, in 2024, Dr. Jacob Gindi joined the group.

A vital part of our service to children is our incredible nursing staff; some of whom have been with the practice since the beginning.

We value the diversity of culture and language found in Los Angeles and have physicians who speak French, Hebrew and Spanish.

The Pediatric Group's history within the Jewish Community

We are particularly sensitive to the needs and customs of various religious groups in our community. To that end, our staff has been educated about Jewish rituals, customs and holidays to best serve our traditional Jewish families.
